Mm. Prague has been great. I hate repeating myself, but I really do absolutely love being here. The trips I've gone on:
Dresden, Germany - Dresden is a gorgeous city. It's cozy, has great baroque architecture, and friendly folks.
Denmark -Though I only spent a few hours in Copenhagen, I can't say what I really feel about it. I suppose I didn't see enough but the smaller city of Aarhus was such a great place to be in. Again, it is a cozier town with great natural sights. We spent an entire day in the woods and the weather had treat us quite well.
I must re-iterate, I hate blogging. Posting is such a hassle and it's hard to put my experience into words. But I really wanted to talk about dance, one of the big reasons why I came here.
Currently I am training in gold/open Standard with Petr Zabystrzan and Monika Mihalikova, one of the best amateur couples in the Czech Republic. How are lessons going? Quite accelerated. Petr has gotten the point that I am a damn good follower, so he'll just lead - call out the figure before he does it and I do my best to execute the steps based on...just following. If I'm doing it incorrectly, he'll teach it to me afterward. I haven't had a lesson with Monika yet, but I can't wait. I have never taken a lesson from a woman/follower, so it'll be quite refreshing to get her take on it.
This is all I feel like typing about. Haha.
